Interview Q&A How long have you been in business?
I have been doing this work since 1994.

What is your primary product or service?
I perform weddings, baby blessings (baptisms) and memorial services for people not affiliated with a local spiritual community.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was pursuing a degree in spiritual counseling when I was asked to officiate a wedding. I loved doing the wedding and decided to focus on that aspect of ministry. I also do weddings for couples who don't want religious language in the ceremony and for same sex couples.

How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My twenty plus years of experience -- 16 in the Wilmington area--have given me familiarity with venues and venue staff as well as the local logistics of licenses and other requirements.

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I go to where the wedding (or event) is from North Topsail to the SC line, covering the beaches as well as the in town venues.
