How long have you been in business?
The C.W. Worth House Bed and Breakfast opened in 1985 and is the longest continuously operating B&B in Wilmington.
What is your primary product or service?
Of course, bed and breakfast! We have 7 guests rooms with private baths and comfortable beds and our breakfasts are sumptuous!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We found Wilmington when we were visiting from New Jersey. When we decided to purchase a B&B we came back to Wilmington and found C.W. Worth House for sale.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer excellent hospitality. As innkeepers we are attuned to the needs of our guests and our goal is to exceed guest expectations. We make sure our guests are comfortable with their surroundings and have plans for their time with us even if it is to just "chill out". We offer suggestions for things to do and see, a calendar of events going on in the area and restaurants to suite the tastes of everyone. We live on site and offer personalized service.

We are centrally located in the historic district and within walking distance to the business district along the Cape Fear River.
What type of payments do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard and cash.
Which areas do you service?
The majority of our guests come from the Triangle/Triad areas of North Carolina, but also Charlotte and up I95 to Richmond and DC. Many folks are visiting from the North and West possibly looking to relocate to the area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are considered a home based business and are run by a husband and wife team who live on the premises.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Our repeat guests who come back year after year are the best compliment! We reward our long-time repeat guests with a gift certificate for a complimentary night after 10 visits to our B&B.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
